    The Town of LaSalle will host the Tuesday, April 8, 2025, Regular Meeting of Council at 6:00 pm. Meetings are held in-person in Council Chambers; members of Council and administration may participate virtually. Meetings are streamed live on the Town of LaSalle YouTube Channel.

  • LaSalle Spring Fling – One Magnificent Day!

    Mark your calendars for the energetic, buskers-style LaSalle Spring Fling on Saturday, April 19, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Event Centre. This unique one-day-only event promises to bring captivating performances, laughter, and fun for the whole family. Best of all, it’s free!

  • The Town of LaSalle is Hiring!

    The Town of LaSalle is currently accepting resumes for the following job postings for LaSalle Police Services:

    • Records Clerk
    • Police Cadet
    • Experienced Police Constable
  • Exciting New Programs for Seniors (55+) in LaSalle

    The Town of LaSalle is pleased to announce the launch of LaSalle Senior Active Living (LSAL), set to begin free programming in April. Sessions will include wellness, educational activities, social events, and drop-in programs designed for older adults (55+) and will take place at various municipal locations in LaSalle. 

  • Road Closure: Turkey Creek Bridge and Matchett Rd / Sprucewood Ave Intersection

    Beginning Monday, March 24, road closures and detours will begin as part of the Turkey Creek Bridge rehabilitation project and improvements at the Matchett Road and Sprucewood Avenue intersection.  

  • Hydrant Maintenance Program 2025

    The annual hydrant maintenance program starts early next week. As crews move into a new area, we will share the locations where the work is taking place. Over the next couple of weeks, hydrant maintenance will occur in the following areas:

    • Area 20: from the Detroit River to Malden Road, Martin Lane to North Townline Road.
    • Area 21: from Malden Road to Howard Avenue, North of Kelly Road to North Townline Road.
  • LaSalle Boat Ramp Opens April 4, 2025

    The LaSalle Boat Ramp, located along the Detroit River at the corner of Front Road and Laurier Drive, will open for the season on Friday, April 4, 2025. Users must have a seasonal pass or purchase a day pass to use the boat ramp.

  • LaSalle Launches Strategic Plan Survey

    Given the continued and expected growth of the Town of LaSalle, administration has been updating the corporation’s Strategic Plan over the past several months. The review and update of LaSalle’s current Strategic Plan, LaSalle 2050, is intended to consider this vision and develop a plan for the next 5 years.
