Earth Day is Tuesday, April 22, 2025, and in honour of this day, the Town of LaSalle is encouraging the community to get involved. Let’s Clean-Up LaSalle in celebration of Earth Day during the month of April.
LaSalle Turtle Club players, coaches, and family members will be celebrating baseball’s opening day on Saturday, April 26. Starting at 10:00 am, the parade will start at the corner of Front Road and Laurier Drive and head to Reaume Road, ending at the Turtle Club Park. Once the walkers arrive at Turtle Club Park, opening ceremonies will take place.
The Town of LaSalle's residential quarterly water bills were mailed early April, and are due by Friday, April 25. Note: the second installment of the interim property tax bill is due on the same date.
The LaSalle Police Services Board and Chair, Mayor Crystal Meloche, are pleased to announce the extension of Jason Woods’ contract as Deputy Chief of Police with the LaSalle Police Service for an additional three years, extending his term through to December 31, 2029.
The annual hydrant maintenance program will take place next week in LaSalle in the following areas:
Area 11: Malden Road to Disputed Road, Bouffard Road to Judy Recker Crescent.
Area 12: Disputed Road to Howard Avenue, Sixth Concession Drive to south of Seventh Concession Road.
Area 18: Detroit River to Malden Road, Gary Avenue to Victory Street.
Area 19: Detroit River to Matchett Road, Victory Street to Martin Lane.
Yard waste collection begins in LaSalle on Saturday, April 12. Find the paper yard waste bag symbol on your 2025 LaSalle Collection Calendar for collection days. Yard waste will be collected every other week for the entire Town.
