Whether you are visiting the Vollmer Complex for games, lessons, or activities, stop by and say 'Hi' to Mayor Crystal Meloche. Mayor Meloche will be on location at the LaSalle Stompers Clubhouse (located at the soccer fields at the Vollmer Complex, 2121 Laurier Parkway), on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm.

Beginning Friday, May 15, the Splash Pad at the Vollmer Culture and Recreation Complex officially opens for the season (weather dependent), welcoming residents to one of LaSalle’s coolest hangouts.

All Town owned outdoor baseball and soccer sport fields are opening for the season at the Vollmer Complex, 2121 Laurier Parkway, on Monday, May 4, weather dependent.

The Town of LaSalle is pleased to introduce Seasonal Seniors Book Club in partnership with the Essex County Library. The newest in the lineup of LaSalle Senior Active Living programs for individuals aged 55+.

With spring in the air and warmer temperatures arriving, The Loop Skate Trail at LaSalle Landing is now closed for skating. It’s been a fun winter season, but as the ice continues to melt, residents are reminded to stay off the ice to help keep everyone safe. 

March Break is quickly approaching, and the Town of LaSalle is welcoming the week with a variety of activities for residents of all ages. Residents can enjoy local recreation programs, explore scenic parks, and trails.  

Families looking to make the most of Family Day, Monday, February 16, will find plenty to enjoy in LaSalle, whether it's gliding through the crisp winter air at The Loop Skate Trail or diving into aquatic fun at the Vollmer Centre. Town of LaSalle offers endless ways to celebrate Family Day together.

The final version of the Parks, Recreation and Culture Master Plan was presented and adopted at the Regular Meeting of LaSalle Council on Tuesday, January 27, 2026. This comprehensive plan outlines the community’s long‑term vision for parks, recreational amenities, cultural services, and public spaces, helping guide decision‑making for the next several years in the Town of LaSalle.
