The Regular Meeting of LaSalle Council scheduled for Tuesday, January 13, 2026, has been cancelled. The next meeting will take place on Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at 6:00 pm. 

After two days of deliberations on November 27 and 28, LaSalle Council made amendments to the 2026 Budget resulting in a Municipal General Levy of $53M (it was $50M in 2025). This amounts to an increase of the LaSalle portion of taxes to $109.99 annually for the average single-family home, or 3.47%.

The Town of LaSalle has released the 2026 Draft Budget and Business Plan document. It is available on the Budget and Finance page of the Town’s website, and can also be viewed in person at the LaSalle Civic Centre.
