Customer Service
We encourage early resolution of concerns in all circumstances. We recommend you first reach out directly to the service area or department where you have a concern. You may do so through the Customer Service portal link (above), in person, by telephone, by email, or in writing. Most concerns received can be resolved quickly by the department responsible.
If you would like to speak to someone directly, call the Town of LaSalle at 519-969-7770, use the Staff Directory to reach a specific department, or speak to reception during office hours at ext. 1221.
You can also visit us in person at the Town of LaSalle Civic Centre, 5950 Malden Road, LaSalle, Ontario N9H 1S4. Town Hall is open Monday to Friday, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, except for holidays.
The following are not addressed through the Customer Service portal:
- A decision of Council or a decision of a committee of Council;
- Internal employee complaints;
- Matters addressed by legislation or an existing municipal By-law;
- Matters that are handled by tribunals, courts of law, quasi-judicial boards, etc.
- Anonymous complaints
The Town of LaSalle Customer Service Standards Policy outlines our commitment to providing great service. All submissions will be dealt with in a confidential manner according to the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act. Information will be collected, used, and disclosed in accordance with the Act.
If your concern has not been resolved, you may contact Ombudsman Ontario for external review.
