Freedom of Information Request

You may wish to contact the Town and speak to the department that is responsible for your request to determine if the information is available. Should the information not be available, then a formal request may be made under the Act.

A response will be provided within 30 days. If your request is received after business hours or on a weekend, your request will be processed on the next business day.

You have the right to appeal any decision made by the Freedom of Information Coordinator. You must file an Appeal with the Information and Privacy Commission of Ontario thirty (30) days after the decision has been made. The Commissioner must be sent a copy of the original request for information that was sent to the Town, together with the Town's decision to deny the request and the appropriate fee.
