Hello residents of LaSalle, 

Easter weekend is just around the corner! The LaSalle Civic Centre will be closed on Good Friday, April 18, and Easter Monday, April 20. The Vollmer Centre will be closed on Good Friday and Easter Sunday.

While some facilities are closed for the holiday, we invite you to celebrate the season with us at the LaSalle Spring Fling on Saturday, April 19! This free, family-friendly event will take place at the Event Centre at LaSalle Landing, 970 Front Road from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

The LaSalle Spring Fling is a unique, busker-style event for all ages, featuring acrobats, beatboxing, magic, roaming entertainment, food trucks, vendors, and more. Join us for the fun!

Website Refresh

We’re excited to refresh the Town of LaSalle website. The new version is now live. You will notice a new look, along with some updated layouts for easier access to information.

LaSalle Senior Active Living (55+)

The LaSalle Senior Active Living Program is now underway and has been incredibly well-attended! The weekly activities offer a variety of options, from learning and playing cards to painting, swimming, and wellness classes. You can also join our weekly pole walking sessions to explore the beautiful LaSalle trails.

New sessions will be available soon, including "Coffee with a Community Member." These activities are open to individuals aged 55 and up. Pre-registration opens two weeks before each session, be sure to register early to secure your spot by calling the 519-969-7771 or visiting www.lasalleactive.ca

Clean-Up LaSalle to Celebrate Earth Day

In celebration of Earth Day, we encourage the community to participate in a park or trail clean-up.

The Town provides gloves and garbage bags for those who register for the clean-up. Don’t forget to tag the Town on social media, and we’ll be sure to share your photos! Visit Clean Up LaSalle for more details and to register.

Mondays with the Mayor

Mondays with the Mayor is on Monday, April 28 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am, giving members of the community an opportunity to meet with me in person to share ideas or ask questions.

No appointment is necessary. Check in with reception at the LaSalle Civic Centre, 5950 Malden Road. Appointments are limited to 10 minutes per person.
