LaSalle to Enhance Senior Programs with $55K Grant from Ministry

MPP Anthony Leardi was at the Vollmer Centre on Friday, January 24, to announce a $55,000 annual grant on behalf of Minister Cho and the Ministry of Seniors and Accessibility. This designates LaSalle for a Senior Active Living Centre (SALC).

This funding will help expand activities for seniors, including health promotion, social events, learning, and drop-in activities. In addition, the Town will work closely with the LaSalle Friendship Club that operates out of the LaSalle Civic Centre, to ensure the new activities complement their existing services and programs. These new free and low-cost programs are scheduled to begin in April.
